Knives Out (June 12)

Amazon Prime Video will be the exclusive streaming home for this unexpected 2019 sleeper box office and critical hit. The movie centers on an author who invites his family to his home to celebrate his birthday. Later on, the man is discovered to be murdered. Naturally, everyone at the house is a suspect, and so a famous detective is brought in to solve the murder.

Writer-director Rian Johnson’s movie harkens back to the classic whodunnit mysteries of Agatha Christie. It also has an all-star cast of actors, including Daniel Craig as the detective Benoit Blanc, along with Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, Christopher Plummer, and Ana de Armas.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars in this upcoming Amazon Studios original movie. He plays a co-pilot who is in the cockpit of a typical airliner on a typical flight from Berlin to Paris. However, things change quickly in-flight when a group of terrorists try to storm the cockpit. He manages to fend off the attack, but the terrorists now threaten to kill passengers if he doesn’t let them inside.
