- MSI unveiled a full slate of new and refreshed laptops CES 2021.
- The GE76 Raider Dragon Edition Tiamat is among the company’s most powerful ever.
MSI is no stranger to PC gaming, and its MSIology presentation at CES 2021 came with a flood of new machines. The new launches cover a full range of gaming needs, and they promise cutting-edge improvements with new graphics hardware.
Not all of MSI’s launches are brand new, but they will be among the first with Nvidia’s powerful Ampere architecture. All of the new laptops will ship with GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs onboard, which promise great improvements in both Ray Tracing and AI. Another key to MSI’s new laptops is Resizable Bar technology, which will allow the CPU to tap entirely into the GPU’s memory. With the right hardware, this should result in a solid performance boost.

The new MSI laptops also embrace the importance of staying connected at top speeds. They pioneer Wi-Fi 6E and MSI has collaborated with Microsoft for better Azure Cloud integration.
Now it’s time to discuss the mother of all gods already, and the only way you’ll get to unleash her power is with the GE76 Raider Dragon Edition. It highlights the Raider line, engraved with MSI’s dragon motifs and all of the power you could ask for. The GE Raider series is overall enhanced with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3080 graphics as well as Intel’s Core i9 processors. Along with Wi-Fi 6E for speed, the GE Raiders employ MSI Cooler Boost 5 technology to stay cool under pressure.
MSI’s GE Raider Series starts at $1,499 and it is available for preorder now.
The MSI GS66 Stealth is also revamped for the new year, but it remains true to the worker by day, gamer by night ideology. It also makes the move to GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics and MSI’s Cooler Boost Trinity Plus system for enhanced cooling. As for the display, MSI has chosen a 300Hz IPS-level unit with True Color 3.0.
You can pre-order your MSI GS66 Stealth starting now from $1,799.
The launches start coming, and they don’t stop coming. Up next is the new GP66 and GP76 Leopard family, built for engineers and gamers alike. The chassis is sleek enough to fit in with your day job, yet it packs the power you expect from MSI. The new Leopards include both RTX 3080 graphics and the latest 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processors. You’ll also find plenty of I/O ports for your peripheral needs. MSI’s GP66 and GP76 Leopard laptops support 8K displays to ensure that no detail goes unnoticed in engineering work.
Pre-order your new Leopard now starting from $1,799.
While the GS66 Stealth may hover amongst the slimmest and most powerful gaming laptops, the Stealth 15M is MSI’s new kid in town. It weighs less than four pounds, and it comes in at just 0.63 inches thick. Underneath that slim form factor, MSI also chose an 11th-generation Intel H-Series processor and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics. It is available for preorder starting at $1,399.
Staying thin, the GF65 and GF75 benefit from some of the same improvements that hit the GS66 Stealth. You’ll find new Intel Core i7 processors and familiar GeForce RTX 30 graphics, as well as a smooth 144Hz IPS-level display. The GF Thin series is among the most affordable announced at CES 2021, starting at $999.
Last, but not least, MSI showed some love to the creators at CES as well. The Creator 15 is meant as an all-around performer, highlighted by a 4K True Pixel display that’s verified by Calman. As you might have guessed, the Creator 15 keeps up with the RTX 30 graphics, which is great news for video and animation rendering. Though you can grab most of MSI’s other offerings right now, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for some more information on the Creator 15.
