Guess who’s back, back again — that’s right, it’s Conor McGregor. After COVID-19 limited him to just one appearance last year, the Notorious will take on Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. The two will battle it out on UFC’s Fight Island, but the only way you’ll have to catch the action on ESPN Plus.

This is the second fight between McGregor and Poirier, and it’s safe to say that these are two different fighters than they were six years ago at UFC 178. Poirier’s reputation has grown since he knocked off Max Holloway for the interim Lightweight title. He put up a good fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov as well, who famously defeated McGregor back in 2018.

Even still, McGregor seems to be the favorite heading into the January 23 showdown. He flattened Donald Cerrone in his only 2020 match, and he’s reportedly in top shape. While McGregor and Poirier highlight the main card, there’s a lot more to look forward to. It should be a night of debuts and upsets leading up to the main event.

All of the action starts with the pre-UFC 257 press conference, and you’ll want to make sure you have ESPN Plus set up in time. Right now, you can bundle the Pay-Per-View fight with a year of ESPN’s premium service for just $89.98.
