Good tidings, fellow streamers! It’s time for our weekly roundup of new movie trailers and TV teasers for titles headed to popular streaming services.

No, we’re not going to hype up Godzilla Vs. Kong here. Honestly, the trailer from last Sunday felt a little over the top. But hey, if you’re looking forward to the monster clash, who are we to judge?

Anyhow, this week’s trailer trove includes a new Amazon Prime Video crime-thriller from the producers of Big Little Lies, a Netflix documentary about LA’s deadliest hotel, a docu-drama about the life story of The Rock, and more. Let’s get started.

The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles

Tell Me Your Secrets

Amazon Prime Video‘s new Lily Rabe series is a twisted thriller that revolves around the lives of three individuals: a young woman (Rabe) in witness protection, a former serial predator (Hamish Linklater) on her trail, and a grieving mother (Amy Brenneman) in search of her missing daughter. Now that’s what we call the perfect recipe for weekend binge-watching.

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at The Cecil Hotel

It is the most infamous hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, with a reputation for murders, suicides, and violent deaths. The trailer for the new Netflix true-crime documentary series focuses on an incident from 2013. A college student named Elisa Lam vanished from The Cecil Hotel, igniting a media frenzy. The upcoming season is the first in a new documentary series about contemporary locations linked to crimes.

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things

The new movie trailer for The Map of Tiny Perfect Things presents a teenage rom-com with a twist. Mark is happy living the same day over and over again, but instead of reliving Happy Death Day-style horrors, he passes his time doing fun things with Margaret, another teenager stuck in the same time loop. We’re not really sold on the cheesy trailer, but maybe you’ll have a different opinion.

Ginny & Georgia

If you were a fan of Gilmore Girls, Netflix’s new drama series Ginny & Georgia should be right up your alley. The trailer promises a lighthearted comedy featuring a young mother-daughter duo trying to put down roots in picturesque New England. It’s an all-too-familiar feel until the trailer adds an element of intrigue. The two are on the run, and the mom has a troubled past she’s desperately trying to escape.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers

90’s kids might recall the Mighty Ducks franchise, but we’re not sure if it needed a reboot. Nevertheless, Disney Plus thinks it’s worth a revisit and has released a new trailer for its upcoming TV series. The show is set in present-day Minnesota where The Mighty Ducks have become a powerhouse. However, they are no longer the welcoming team they once were. So a 12-year-old boy and his mother (Lauren Graham) set out to make their own team of misfits with the help of none other than Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez).

Young Rock

It’s the dramatized life story of Dwayne “The Rock Johnson, told in a fun rags-to-riches kind of way. The series follows Johnson’s journey, from growing up in Hawaii to becoming a professional wrestler, a football player, and a movie star. What’s more? He’s running for president in 2032. Yeah, you read that correctly!
