LG just published a video teaser of its upcoming “mass-market flagship,” the LG Velvet.
The video shows a brand-new design language that includes a fresh take on the camera module. Instead of massive camera modules like we’ve seen on the Galaxy S20 and Huawei P40 Pro, the Velvet opts for an inverted teardrop design. It looks q30uite fresh.
We also get a good look at the color options the LG Velvet will be available in, including some attractive gradient colorways.
The LG Velvet will be the first phone in LG’s rebooted strategy. Its name is supposed to show a clear departure from the old way of doing things, which has caused 20 consecutive quarters of losses to LG’s mobile unit.
What do you think of this design?
