The first Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus renders have arrived just a few days after we saw leaked renders of the smaller Galaxy Note 20. These renders come from known tipster OnLeaks (in collaboration with Pigtou) so we can trust that they are pretty close to the real thing.
Right off the bat, the first thing you’ll notice about the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus is its huge and chunky camera module. In fact, with the bulging camera bump, the phone apparently measures 10.7mm in thickness. Without taking it into account, the Galaxy Note 20 Plus is said to be 7.6mm thick, making it minutely thinner than the Galaxy Note 10 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra.
As per the renders, there are at least four camera sensors at the back. Three of them are aligned vertically, with a periscope lens looking like the third camera. Look under the flash and we’ve got a depth camera and what could be a focus module.
Elsewhere, the design of the phone is largely unchanged compared to its predecessor. You apparently get the same 6.9-inch curved display with a center punch hole for the selfie camera.
The display of the regular Note 20 isn’t much smaller and reportedly measures 6.7-inches.
The position of the S Pen housing has also changed on the Galaxy Note 20 Plus, just as we saw on the leaked Note 20 renders. Samsung usually slots the stylus on the right side, but renders for both the Galaxy Note 20 phones show it placed on the bottom left.
You can also see a USB-C port, a speaker grille, and a mic next to the S Pen slot at the bottom. Unfortunately, Samsung has ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack on its premium flagships, so don’t expect to see a comeback with the Note 20 series.
While the design of the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus looks almost identical per renders, the differences will be noticeable in their specs.
Specs leading the way
The Galaxy Note 20 Plus is rumored to get a 120Hz refresh-rate display compared to the rumored 60Hz screen on the standard Note 20. The presence of LTPO tech means that the Note 20 Plus’ display will also bring better power optimization than the 120Hz screen of the S20 Ultra.

The bigger Note 20 is also expected to get a 108MP main camera and a brand new sensor to improve autofocus. On the other hand, the Note 20 could give the 108MP sensor a miss and stick to the same 12MP sensor found on the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus.
The battery on the Plus model should also be larger than the Note 20’s rumored 4,000mAh battery.
