The OnePlus 8 series may have launched recently, but we’re still eagerly waiting for the oft-leaked OnePlus Z to launch. Now, a new leak via True-Tech has shown what could be the OnePlus Z in the flesh.
The image shows a phone with a center-mounted punch-hole cutout and a flat screen, as opposed to a curved design and off-center punch-hole seen on the OnePlus 8 series. This would be in line with previously disclosed renders though — check out True-Tech‘s image below.

We don’t see much else in the picture, but it does point to the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor here. This wouldn’t be a surprise given that OnePlus has used this feature since 2018’s OnePlus 6T. It also means we can expect an OLED screen too, as in-display scanners are only available on OLED panels for now. Otherwise, we can just about make out volume buttons on the left, and the alert slider/power key combo on the right.
We should take this new image with a grain of salt though, as there’s still a possibility this could be a well-crafted fake. In any event, the OnePlus Z is rumored to offer a MediaTek 5G processor, a 4,000mAh battery, and 30W charging speeds. All leaks point to a July launch window, so we’ve got some time to go until then.
