Today, OnePlus unveiled its latest series of devices: the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. In a surprise announcement during the launch event, the company revealed that the OnePlus 8 line will also tout Google Stadia support.
Unfortunately, OnePlus didn’t mention whether the devices will feature Google Stadia support out of the box or not. But the OnePlus spokesperson also said that the company will enable Google Stadia on a “selection of other OnePlus devices” but neglected to mention which ones and when they will receive it.

With this announcement, OnePlus will join the likes of Samsung, Razer, Asus, and of course, Google on the growing list of Stadia compatible Android devices. Though the platform has some glaring issues, it’s nice to see Stadia support land on more devices.
OnePlus says to stay tuned to the company’s official channels for more Google Stadia details. If you are interested in picking up a OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 Pro for yourself, check them out at the links below.
