Asus unveiled the Chromebook Flip C436 at CES 2020, which was one of the best Chromebooks at the event. We’ve been looking forward to trying the device out for ourselves, and it looks like the wait is finally over. Asus just made the device available for purchase online.
The Flip C436 features a magnesium chassis similar to its predecessor, the Asus Chromebook Flip C434. The new model weighs in at 2.58 pounds, which would be more than half a pound lighter than the 3.2-pound C434. Check it out:
It also features a 1080p touchscreen display, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of internal SSD storage, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6, and Intel’s 10th gen Intel Core processors. Customers can also expect a fingerprint sensor, two USB-C ports, a backlit keyboard, a 42Wh battery rated at 12 hours, and stylus support. The Asus Chromebook Flip C436 doesn’t come with a stylus, but at least the option is there for you digital artists.
