Update, July 28, 2020 (4AM ET): The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has been showcased in yet another pre-launch video. This time, YouTube channel The Mobile Central is responsible for a full unboxing, including a detailed look at the watch itself, its setup procedure, and size comparisons with other devices.
The nearly 10-minute video is probably our best look at the Mystic Bronze 41mm Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 to date. Aesthetically, the Watch 3’s design cues match those spotted in previous first-looks, renders, and leaks.
Included in the box is the usual magnetic charging cradle, but there doesn’t seem to be a second strap. This could be fairly annoying for those with wider wrists who want to wear the smaller 41mm model. A larger 45mm is also in the works, according to previous rumors, which should be a better replacement for the Gear S3 Frontier Edition’s 46mm face.

Samsung’s watch is one of several devices expected to arrive next week, alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series. So we don’t have long to wait for availability and pricing information.
Original article, July 27, 2020 (10:11AM ET): Yet another Samsung device has leaked ahead of the company’s August 5 event. The purported Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is the subject of a video published by YouTube channel TechTalkTV. The video was reportedly created by one of the channel’s subscribers.
We don’t get a lengthy look at the watch in the vertical video, but we can glean a fair amount from it nonetheless. For one, the clip showcases the purported 41mm model which features a 1.2-inch round display with two buttons on its right-hand side. The rotating bezel makes a welcome return too for glossing through menus and apps. Samsung’s wearable UI seemingly hasn’t changed much, still sporting rounded icons with additional and familiar swipe controls to boot. The device handled in the video also suggests that earlier renders published by Evan Blass and a live photo from a Taiwanese regulator may be accurate.

According to the YouTube channel, the smartwatch will also be offered in a larger 45mm guise with a 1.4-inch display, echoing earlier rumors. Both sizes will allegedly sport an IP68 rating with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Built-in GPS is also allegedly included along with an ECG and a heart rate monitor. Also mentioned in the video is the presence of Gorilla Glass DX and MIL-STD-810G durability. Both features appeared in previous leaks too.
Samsung will debut five key devices at its digital-only Unpacked event next month, including the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and more.
