  • In India, Samsung will offer the Note 20 in an additional color: Mystic Blue.
  • The company hasn’t mentioned if it will sell the variant to other markets.

It was only a week ago that Samsung announced the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, but the company is already adding new color variants to the phone’s lineup. In India, the company said it will sell the Note 20 in an additional hue called Mystic Blue.

As of writing, the variant isn’t up on Samsung’s website, leaving Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black as the only two options currently. The press release the company shared also doesn’t mention a Mystic Blue version of the Note 20 Ultra. It’s unclear if Samsung plans to release the color in other markets.

While consumers in India can buy the Note 20 in several different colors, they have less choice when it comes to the phone’s internals. As things currently stand, Samsung is only selling a single variant of the device that comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for Rs 77,999 (~$1,041) before trade-in offers. Likewise, there’s only one option when it comes to the Note 20 Ultra. For Rs 104,999 (~$1,401), Indian consumers can get the 256GB model with 5G connectivity. The new color won’t change the Note 20’s most controversial feature, but at least it gives buyers another choice, and a handsome one at that.

A “cheaper” Note
Samsung’s Galaxy Note line has always been for the power users, and this year’s models are no different. The standard Galaxy Note 20 has some trade-offs to hit a lower price point, but it should still satisfy many Note users.
