We know that Realme is launching a smartwatch on May 25. It’s the company’s first attempt at a fitness watch and thanks to a new teaser page, we now have plenty of information about it.

Firstly, the design of the Realme smartwatch is more or less clear. In the teaser images posted by the company, the device has a square Apple Watch-like screen and neon-on-black graphics. We’re not really surprised at how much it resembles the Apple Watch because that’s a trend we’ve come to accept. Thankfully, the Realme Watch doesn’t seem to have a digital crown and instead opts for a button on the right side.

It also reminds us a lot of the Amazfit GTS with its choice of the color screen and fitness features. The Realme Watch gets a 1.4-inch touchscreen display and tracking for 14 sports modes, including: Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Cricket, and more. You also get a heart rate monitor and a blood oxygen level monitor on the device.

Further, the teasers confirm that you’ll be able to control the Realme smartwatch using the Realme Link app on your phones. The watch will likely connect to your phone using Bluetooth to enable functions like receiving calls and getting app notifications from WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and more. You’ll also be able to control the music and camera on your phones using the wearable.

Options for the silicone straps shown in Realme’s teaser include green, red, and blue colorways. The straps will also be available in two designs — a Classic strap and a Fashion strap.

The only thing left to know is its battery life and price. Rumors suggest the watch will get a 160mAh battery and also feature an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

We’re guessing the watch will get an affordable price tag as it’s Realme’s first and the company is known for creating a buzz by launching affordable products.
