- Google Pixel Buds 2 are facing quite a few issues, as reported by users.
- Google sent out a survey that acknowledges many of the issues users are dealing with.
- The survey could indicate that the company intends to fix these problems.
The Google Pixel Buds 2 are a perfectly reliable pair of wireless earbuds, but they’re not without problems. In fact, based on user reports, they have a lot of issues. Thankfully, it seems as though Google is more than aware of the issues many users are facing, and the company intends to fix them.
As reported by Droid Life, Google recently sent out a survey asking various questions about the experience of owning a pair of Google’s latest earbuds. Most of the questions are pretty basic, hitting on topics like what types of devices users own, how often they use their Google Pixel Buds 2, and things of that nature.
The survey becomes interesting towards the end when Google asked whether the user was facing any of the issues with their Google Pixel Buds 2 listed. The acknowledgment gives us a definite hint of the problems the company is aware of and which ones it’s likely to fix first.

All sorts of issues are covered in the survey, and it features many of the issues we’ve seen reported. For example, it mentions the constant hissing noise, audio cutouts, left and right buds being out of sync, lack of bass, and video lag. There’s a section that talks about issues with the fit and comfort of the Google Pixel Buds 2, the case, battery life, and even software issues with Google Translate, Adaptive Sound, and Google Assistant.
Hopefully, this is a sign that Google will fix these problems. Considering that the company recently announced it would release regular feature updates for the earbuds, we’d expect to see many of them improved as time goes on.
