- OnePlus has confirmed more Nord details ahead of the phone’s launch.
- Camera, RAM, and display specifications have been published in official forum posts.
After a month of slow, staggered announcements, more specs of the OnePlus Nord have been revealed on the company’s official forums.
In a post by Shawn L., OnePlus Nord’s head of product, the company confirmed that the mid-ranger will boast a 90Hz display. It’ll also sport a touch sampling rate of 180Hz which should make the screen more responsive for gamers.
Additional details include an option for 12GB of RAM alongside the Snapdragon 765G which was confirmed earlier this month. That’s a lot of RAM for a mid-ranger priced below $500, but it’s not clear if this will be the stock RAM figure or that of a higher-priced variant.
Camera details were also confirmed in another forum post by imaging director Simon Liu. The OnePlus Nord will have a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, supported by an 8MP wide-angle camera, macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, OnePlus’ first dual-selfie camera phone has a 32MP selfie camera with an unspecified ultra-wide-angle snapper alongside it.
OnePlus Nord will launch on July 21 alongside the company’s first true wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds.
