After much anticipation, we are finally about to see Motorola unveil its upcoming flagship device: the Motorola Edge Plus. We first expected to see Motorola launch the Edge Plus at Mobile World Congress 2020 before the GSMA canceled the event.
Now, a recent post on Motorola’s official Twitter account reveals the company will host a digital launch “E-vent” for the device April 22. Though we are confident this event is for the Motorola Edge Plus, the launch announcement information doesn’t mention the handset by name. Instead, it just says the event is for the company’s flagship device, and the accompanying teaser video highlights the handset’s rumored waterfall display.

We expect the Motorola Edge Plus to tout a 6.67-inch 90Hz 2,340 x 1,080 curved display, the Snapdragon 865 SoC, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, a 5,170mAh battery, a 108MP camera, and Android 10. That top-tier Snapdragon processor also means the smartphone would feature 5G connectivity. You can read more about the handset’s potential specs and leaks over on our Motorola Edge Plus rumor hub.
All in all, we are pretty excited to see Motorola return to the high-end flagship market. We can’t wait to see what the company officially unveils next week.
