The Motorola One series of smartphones has been a solid family of mid-range devices from the stalwart mobile brand. The firm isn’t stopping there though, as a new leak points to two new entries in the range.
Frequent leaker Evan Blass tweeted that the Motorola One Fusion and Motorola One Fusion Plus will arrive before the end of Q2 (i.e. end of June). Furthermore, Blass noted that the Fusion has the codename Titan and the Plus has the codename of Liberty.
We don’t have any other details pertaining to the new phones, but the Motorola One series is a mid-range family. So we can expect these devices to be affordable at the very least.
The Motorola One phones also tend to be named after their unique selling points, with the Motorola One Zoom offering a telephoto camera, the Motorola One Action offering an ultra-wide “action” camera, and the Motorola One Macro having a macro camera. So Fusion is likely related to the phone’s capabilities in some way. Our best guess is image fusion technology of some kind for improved photo quality.
News of the Motorola One Fusion series also comes a few days after the brand finally announced a reveal event for its Motorola Edge flagship line. The new flagships are set to be unveiled on April 22 (Wednesday), and we’re expecting a Snapdragon 865 processor, high refresh rate display, a 5,170mAh battery, and a 108MP main camera.
